***ALL Company Photo in SHOW SHIRTS and COSTUMES after the SHOW THIS FRIDAY! ON STAGE at our post show meeting. Booth and Stage Crew: wear your show shirts to work in on FRIDAY.

Hello Drama! What happened on Friday and Saturday is what was in my mind from the beginning. A beautifully realized and confident show by opening that captivates, entertains and leaves a strong thematic message. We got there because you believed in our work. And even when you weren't quite sure where I was headed, you leaned in and learned that the best things happen when we are fearlessly creative AND well organized!

ALL DRAMA! Read through the call times below carefully, so that you know when you are expected at the Theatre for Show Calls on SATURDAY.

HOUSE: The schedule for House positions is posted on ONE NOTE. You did a stellar job! I enjoyed watching the leadership from those who had filled positions or been in house before helping and modeling for those new to the jobs. YOU make our audience realize they have stepped into a professionally fun experience. Thank you!

Monday is a 'dark day' this week for Drama as we rest and get ready for another amazing week of rehearsals and shows!

MONDAY is a Show Shirt Day! Also, put your buttons on so they can be seen. Thursday and Friday are also Show Shirt Days!

The slide you see on the HOME PAGE will be running on the screens starting on Monday! Hype the comedy and sheer joy of the show! Ask you teachers if you can do announcements in your classes!

We should start seeing your teachers and Juanita staff next week, so personally  INVITE your TEACHERS and remind them to use the STAFF CODE on the email from me. Let's break records with teacher attendance! A personal invite means a lot to your teachers. Invite ALL the adults in your life, including teachers from elementary and middle school!

AFTER SHOW PICK UPS! The show run time is 90 minutes (including my talk at the beginning). House pick ups are approx 30 - 45 minutes after the show ends. Everyone else depends on your position and post-show responsibilities, so ask Mac if you are not sure. THIS Friday, we will have a talk back AND a bit longer after show talk on stage because we are getting our FULL COMPANY PHOTO! Be sure to look spiffy and wear your show shirts!

GREET THE BUSES will be on THURSDAY, March 20! Plan to be a part of this amazing experience. Your groups will be at the same places as the Wrinkle Greet the Buses. Your Group Leaders are in CHARGE of this event. We WILL have CANDY for you to pass out. WEAR YOUR SHOW SHIRTS and fingers crossed for a pretty morning!

Responding to the Monday Letter is optional for Tech Theatre and required for 7th as part of your grade. I want to encourage ALL students to respond to show me that you read the Monday Letter and to strengthen our connections. Your time in class will be enriched through those connections. The Monday Letter responses help you organize for the week and stay on top of deadlines. These are chatty, informal responses! They do not have to be long.

Respond to the Monday Letter by sending an email to: [email protected]:
  • 1. Use a unique two word phrase in the subject line that is like a title for the week's content. Be fun! Your subject lines often make me smile:). Do NOT Say Monday Letter.
  • 2. Say hi, reflect on what we have been doing.
  • 3. Share what you know and understand is coming up for the week.
  • 4. Ask questions and/or share something you did over the weekend, or something about yourself you want me to know. This could be a hobby, an activity with friends or family, a book you are reading.
