May 11, 2026
Hello Drama!

Congratulations to Juanita Drama for being the BEST audience for Check, Please. It was so much fun we are doing it again THIS FRIDAY at 7pm. Let's blow up our audience! Invite your friends from Juanita AND from other schools. Don't give away the opening, but let them know how awesome the show is. And who knows? There may be a surprise or two for those of you that already know how the show opens! Remember, it is FREE, and a delightful way to spend a Friday Night!

I am still smiling about the whole fabulous  experience.

Monday is Thespian Induction! Follow your letter, and if you have any questions ask Mac or the name at the bottom of your letter. I will see you right at 4pm by the backstage door with the STAR on it! Remember to bring everything you need. I promise a magical event!

The Monday Letter is a required read for everyone in Drama. I have noticed that there has been a drop off in the number of times the site has been accessed, and I am definitely not hearing from all of you via your email response. Let's do something about that! Read and RESPOND to the Monday Letter! It is super important for me to do the best job I can for all of you.

Mark your calendars for these important dates!
May 11, 4-7pm, Thespian Induction!
May 15, 7pm, SENIOR SHOW in our Theatre! FREE
May 18-20, Nationals Virtual and In Person Meetings, Rehearsals and Taping
May 21, 5 - 8pm, Drama End of The Year PARTY! More Info to come!
May 30, RTC at the MARKET! Time TBA
June 15, Senior Farewell! 3:30pm to (time to be announced)

We will also have at least ONE movie night, the yearbook reveal, and yearbook signing! There will be a HUGE clean out and give away of props and costumes (our yearly event). So lots to look forward to!

OPP's! The OPP assignment is on One Note and DUE by May 20. Thanks to everyone who have already submitted. Please read the OPP form over carefully. I have added details to the prompts to help you do a better job with your submissions. You also need to fill out the chart on One Note in the collaboration space on which show you are planning on using for your OPP. You can edit this at any time up to the submission. The chart is now PAST DUE for grades.

Responding to the Monday Letter is optional for Tech Theatre and required for 7th as part of your grade. I want to encourage ALL students to respond to show me that you read the Monday Letter and to strengthen our connections. Your time in class will be enriched through those connections. The Monday Letter responses help you organize for the week and stay on top of deadlines. These are chatty, informal responses! They do not have to be long.

Respond to the Monday Letter by sending an email to: [email protected]:
  • 1. Use a unique two word phrase in the subject line that is like a title for the week's content. Be fun! Your subject lines often make me smile:). Do NOT Say Monday Letter.
  • 2. Say hi, reflect on what we have been doing.
  • 3. Share what you know and understand is coming up for the week.
  • 4. Ask questions and/or share something you did over the weekend, or something about yourself you want me to know. This could be a hobby, an activity with friends or family, a book you are reading.
