Hello Drama!
HONK! The Musical has FOUR MORE SHOWS! For the last four shows ALL STUDENTS are 2 for 1 at the BOX OFFICE! In other words, $10 gets two students in: if you do the math that is $5 student tickets for the four remaining shows! I will be posting on Instagram and FB today. Send the message out to everyone you know and share with your friends and classes tomorrow!
Have you attended the show? Make sure I put in your extra credit! Come again and bring a friend for that 2 for 1 price!! Seeing a show for the second time is even more fun because you will see even more of the detail. It is also fun to sit in a different part of the theatre to see how that changes the perspective. If you go again, let me know, and I will add to your extra credit.
All three classes watched Hamilton last week and read the articles posted in ONE NOTE on the role of the Director in a Theatrical Production. If you went to STATE and weren't in classes on Friday, make sure you read those articles to be prepared for our discussion on Monday!
This week in Production Workshop: NOTE THE TIME CHANGES FOR M-W from the Calendar. Wear those show shirts all week! Have some long sleeve t's to wear under them for Greet the Buses? That way you are warm but you are showing off your shirts.

Thursday, March 23, is GREET THE BUSES! Meet at 7:15 in your designated area with the group leader (look on One Note for Groups). If you are riding the bus hop off and join in. Wear show shirts, wave posters, be friendly and inviting - not obnoxious in any way, please. We want people to be aware of the shows, not annoyed by Drama. Big welcoming smiles, 'Looking forward to seeing you at the show' attitudes!
Take care,
Mac

Responding to the Monday Letter is optional for 5, 6 & 7 and required for 8th. I want to encourage ALL students in ALL classes to respond to show me that you read the Monday Letter and to strengthen our connections. Your time in class will be enriched through those connections. These are chatty, informal responses! They do not have to be long.

When you respond to the Monday Letter at emcmurray-hauk@lwsd.org:
- 1. Use a unique two word phrase in the subject line that is like a title for the week's content. Be fun! Your subject lines often make me smile:).
- 2. Say hi, reflect on what we have been doing.
- 3. Share what you know and understand is coming up for the week.
- 4. Ask questions and/or share something you did over the weekend, or something about yourself you want me to know. This could be a hobby, an activity with friends or family, a book you are reading.
